In his carreer, he travelled through storytelling, graphic design and music production.
This first NFT Collection is the perfect mix of his work: sharing stories, enlight counter culture, express it on image.

He has worked for several international companies including Chanel, Dassault, Disney, Lancôme, Levi’s, or Samsung.

#psilo-300 From the beginning of the ages, men have eaten shoots, roots and mushrooms. Here, a stone statue of Teonanacatl, « the flesh of the Gods », also called the mushroom man. A well-known friend for shamans in the Amazon forest. Dated -300BC…

#soma1000 Soma is known in ancient texts as « the plant of the Gods », but is not clearly identified. Richard Evan Schultes, the American botanist, considers that it’s the Fly Agaric, this mystical mushroom that were using siberian shamans to induce trances. It’s so powerful that kidneys could not eliminate the active substance.

#thc1492 All boats exploring our World had sails and ropes made of cannabis. La Cannebière in Marseille took its name from all the cannabis loaded on its wharfs. Until the invention of Nylon in 1935, voyages were supported by weed. It expanded the body before touching the mind.

#thc1543 One of the first known representations of Cannabis Sativa, made by German botanist Leonhart Fuchs (1501-1566). The plant was ubiquitous: manufacturing, textiles, ropes and medecine.

#coca1750 Coca leaves have always been used by people in the Andes. Joseph de Jussieu brought the first ones in Europe in 1750. A century later, the German chemist Friedrich Gaedcke created crystals by reducing the leaves.

#opium1839 1839 is the beginning of the First Opium War. This is exactly when England invented drug dealing at the massive scale we know today. At the end of the war, England was controlling the opium market in China, and won Honk Kong as a retribution.

#thc1847 In the Wild Wild West, the pharmacist had good cures for everyone, such as this very popular cannabis tincture. Other products also contained cocaine or opium, sometimes both, always to make you healthier!

#thc1868 The « Club des Hashischins » was based in Hotel de Lauzun, also known as the Hotel Pimodan in Paris. This luxurian and baroque appartement was the perfect shelter for haschich parties. There, Baudelaire, Theophile Gautier and Gustave Flaubert were in the good hands of Dr Moreau de Tours.

#psilo1884 In « Alice in Wonderland » by Lewis Carroll, our hero took a mushroom to increase her size. Everything in Alice’s dream looks like a psychedelic trip: hallucinations, talking animals, elongated time frames, mushrooms and smokes.

#coca1886 As a lot of medication from that time, John Pemberton’s first Coca-Cola receipe contained cocaine. In 1905, the firm modified it and removed cocaine from it. It hasn’t changed since. Instead, Coca-Cola now uses an extract made from… coca leaves.

#thc1912 In Morocco in 1912, the French government created the « Régie Marocaine Des Kifs & Tabacs » to take control of the whole haschich traffic in North Africa.

#mdma1912 First synthesized in 1912 by Anton Kollisch for Merck, it remainded unused before animal testing phases in 1927 and 1953, mainly on rats and flies…

#lsd1943 In 1943, Albert Hofmann became the first man to ingest LSD 25. He thought it was a very little dose. As the trip began with a gentle bicycle ride, it ended up in a lot of anxiety. But Hofmann kept trying… This was the design of the acid blotter commemorating the 50 years of this first ever trip!

#coca1944 In 1944, after an assassination attempt, Hitler was healed by his doctor using cocaine. Since the beginning of the WWII, German soldiers were given massive doses of Pervitin, a strong amphetamine, while their nazi chiefs were snorting and injecting anything available. High on Horror.

#lsd1951 The fungus ergot found on rye was at the basis of LSD synthesis. Known as the « St Antoine’s fire », « hell’s fire », « sacred fire » or « fire’s plague » in the Middle Ages, this ergotism affected flours and therefore breads. In 1951 in Pont-Saint-Esprit, France, it made a whole village tripping very badly.

#psilo1955 Maria Sabina, the « curandera » from Jiménez in Mexico introduced Gordon Wasson, the American explorer, to psilocybine mushrooms. He then brought back spores to Roger Heim, a French mycologist form Museum d’Histoire Naturelle in Paris, who grew them in his lab.

#psilo1958 With Roger Heim growing mushrooms, Albert Hofmann managed to synthesize the active molecule. He then traveled to Mexico to meet Maria Sabina, who tried his synthetic psilocybin. She said he found the secret of the mushroom, and that the trip was the same than with natural ones. A transmission story.

#lsd1963 Aldous Huxley, the American author, wrote « The Doors Of Perception » under the influence of mescaline. Later, the book gave its name to The Doors. The day of his death from laryngeal cancer, he asked his wife by writing a note to try LSD 100 microgram intramuscular. One hour later, she injected 100 microgram more with his approval. He died with a certain smile, the same day JFK was shot to death.

#thc1964 The THC (tétrahydrocannabinol), was identified in 1964 by Professor Raphael Mechoulam and Yechiel Gaoni at the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot, Israel.

#lsd1966 Ken Kesey, with the royalties from « One Flew Over A Cuckoo’s Nest », founded the Merry Pranksters with some happy fews, and travelled across the US in a psychedelic painted school bus. They invited people on the road to pass the acid test and try LSD’s punch for fun, which was still legal then…

#thc1967 At the crossing of Haight and Ashbury streets in San Francisco, the hippie dream was born. Smoking pot was a big part of the experience, and marijuana became a whole new generation’s friend.

#lsd1969 1969 marks the beginning of the end of the hippiy utopia. At a Rolling Stones concert in Altamont, the Hells Angels used as security assassinated the poor Meredith Hunter, because of too much LSD. Later on, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrinson and Jimi Hendrix’s deaths would be the nails in the coffin…

#psilo1971 At the Museum d’Histoire Naturelle in Paris where Roger Heim was growing psilocybin mushrooms, Gabrielle Bazante studied in 1971 the effects of psilocybin on spiders when manufacturing webs. She used the synthetic’s version created by Hofmann.

#thc1973 Bob Marley was the most famous weed-smoking icon. And a whole generation of ska, dub and reggae men eructed weed as the symbol of liberation. The same can be found in Nigeria where Fela Kuti, the king of afrobeat, used ganja as a weapon. Kaya!

#mdma1976 Alexander Shulgin, otherwise known as Sasha, a famous American chemist and mind traveller, synthesised MDMA in 1965, but did not try it until 1976. This experience lead to the book ‘PIHKAL, A Chemical Love Story’, published in 1993, and the opening of the gates for generations of dancers.

#thc1976 Hank de Vries was the first modern legal dealer. He opened the Bulldog Coffeeshop in Amsterdam in 1974. 2 years later, he lobbied the Dutch government to separate legally soft and hard drugs. And Netherlands became the first country in the world to tolerate pot smoking. Thank you Hank!

#mdma1984 1984 California was the Eden for amphetamine heads. Legal and easy to find, Ecstasy found its street name and began its massive invasion there. Under the sun and palm trees, you had to be rich, sexy and stoned…

#mdma1992 After conquering Ibiza and England, the Rave phenomena took over Europe. Thousands of kids invaded warehouse and other spaces every weekend, eating tons of pills of every colour, shape and brand. Groovy!

#coca1993 When Pablo Escobar was killed in 1993, the Colombian police « Search Block » and the DEA created a Robin Hood for Colombians and beyond. Worshiped like a pop star, there are posters, graffiti, songs and TV series created in his memory.

#thc1993 California and Humboldt county have always been a key place for pot growing in the US. When Snoop Dog released its first album, California had never been so close to legalization. Beautiful!

#lsd1993 Benoit Mandelbrot’s fractals were the perfect image for the new rave generation. Symbols of techno digital images, they were also a reference to hallucinations induced by psychedelics. Acciiiiiddddd

#mdma2017 The Red Army Skull, identified in Switzerland in 2017 as one of the strongest ecstasy tested with no less than 175 mg of MDMA per pill. This marks the revival of the little pill, largely underestimated with the emergence of « molly », the street name for MDMA crystal.

#coca2021 Take 500g of dried leaves, add cement, put it in gasoline with a bit of sulfuric acid, and you have pasta. Then wash with caustic soda and acetone, and you have coca base. Then crystallise with hydrochloric acid and you have 1g of cocaine hydrochloride. The rest get dumped in the forest. The production was estimated at 2000 tons/year, at 100 percent purity, in 2021.
